We are holding a Competitive Gymnastics Trial at Alloa Gymnastics Club and are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking gymnasts who are ready to challenge themselves and develop their skills in a fun, supportive, and rewarding environm …moreent. ✨ Who can attend? 🔹 WAG Development / Pre-Development Girls born in 2020, 2021 or 2022 (No previous experience required) 🔹 WAG Girls born in 2017, 2018 or 2019 (some gymnastics experience required) 🔹 WAG (Older) Girls born between 2012 and 2016 (WAG experience required) 🔹 Floor & Vault Gymnasts Boys & girls born between 2019- 2010 (some experience recommended but not required) What is Women's Artistic Gymnastics (WAG)? 🤸‍♀️ Women's Artistic Gymnastics is a competitive discipline that develops strength, flexibility, coordination, confidence, and performance skills. Gymnasts train and compete on four apparatus: Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor. What is Floor & Vault? ⭐ Floor & Vault is a competitive pathway that focuses on two apparatus. On Floor, gymnasts perform routines showcasing tumbling, leaps, jumps and flexibility. On Vault, gymnasts perform powerful skills over the vault table or blocks. This pathway is ideal for gymnasts who enjoy speed, power, tumbling and flips etc. What will the trial involve? Our coaching team will guide gymnasts through a range of activities designed to assess: 💪 Strength 🤸 Flexibility ⭐ Coordination and body control 🏃 Speed and power 😊 Attitude, focus and willingness to learn Most importantly, we're looking for gymnasts who enjoy being active, are eager to improve, and are willing to work hard while having fun.
